Mekong River
Mekong River System:
The Mekong River system of Cambodia comprises the river of Upper Mekong and Lower Mekong (from Lobakhon to Kaom Samnoh),Basac River (100 km) and all branches of the Mekong River.
The Mekong River is in the magnitude of 800,000 square kilometers surface where flows from the Upper Tibet source of 5,000meter and flows through the countries of Loas,Thailand,Cambodia and Vietnam.
In Cambodia, the Mekong River flows from Loba Khon (the Border of Cambodia-Loas)to the Border of Cambodia -Veitnam through theprovinces of Steung Treng,Kratie,Kampong Cham,Kandal and Pre Veng in 500-kilometer distance.
WATER FROM OF MEKONG RIVER:
The water form of Mekong River affected by Monsoon.In rainy season ,which lasts from June to October,the Mekong River filled up by water in the magnitude of 34,000 cubic Meters.During the dry season,from November to May,the water of Mekong River is down in simultaneous the ice of Tibet stopped melting and the Monsoon of rainy season stopped blowing.
BRANCHES OF MEKONG RIVER:
Branches of Mekong River comprises the river of Pau at the right hand side and the river of Mekong River ,San ,Sre Pok,Pre Kampy,Prek Tholung and 100 kilometer of Toch River,at the left hand side.
