TRANSPORTATION NETWORK OF CAMBODIA:

* Road Network:
The Statistices of 1970 indicated the Road Network of Cambodia as follows: +Road NO.1:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Bavit via Neak Leung and Svay Rieng Province in the distance of 167 Kilometers.
+Road NO.2:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Phnom Den via Ta Kmao and Takeo Province in the distance of 137 Kilometers.
+Road NO.3:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Sihanouk Vill via Kampot Province in the distance of 260 Kilometers.
+Road No.4:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Sihanouk Vill via Kampong Speu Province in the distance of 232 Kilometers.
+Road NO.5:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Oh Chrau via provinces of Kampong Chhnang,Pursat,Battambong and Banteay Meanchey in the distance of 408 Kilometers.
+Road NO.6:
Stretches frome Phnom Penh to Banteay Meanchey province via Preak Kdam and Province of Kampong Thom and Siem reap in the distance of 386 Kilometers.
+Road No.7:
Stretches frome Skun to Mondulkiri Province in 543-Kilometer distance via Snuol. and Stretches frome Skun to Mondulkiri Province in 403 Kilometer distance by Sam Linh Road.
PROVINCIAL ROADS:
Totally has 3200 kilometer lenght,which link from Provincial Towns to Districts and Communes.The constructing and repairing of the provincial road have been self-financed by each province.
Bridges :
There are totally 4027 varied bridges stretching on the National Road.From 1994 to the present ,Road Consist of:
*4235 Kilometers National Raod.
*3675 Kilometers Provincial Road.

* Rail:

Befor 1970,Rail Transportation was named Royal Railways of Cambodia,which totally has 649-kilometer length and one=-meter width.the rail comprises:
- Phnom Penh-Poi Pet:386 Kilometers,which was constructed in 1927.
- Phnom Penh-Sihanouk Ville:264 Kilometers,which was constructed in 1958.
- There are 990 varities of rail bridges.


* AIR :

Cambodia has two International Airports:Pochentong International Airport,can be landed by all planes and Siem Reap Airport Playing an active role in carrying National and International tourists to the province of sieme reap ,the home of Angkor complex.The Airports have been renovated and reconstructed by French Investment Company.


In addition,Cambodia has more six Domestic Airports,which are located in the Provinces of koh Kong,Battambang,Stueng Treng,Ratanakiri,Mondulkiri and Sihanouk Ville city.The domestic airports have been operated by the Royal Air Cambodge airlines,Phnom Penh Airlines and President Airlines.

* Water :

Geographically,Cambodia shapes as the bottom of pan and rich int water system.whic has been classifies into three categories: Mekong River system , Tonle Sap system and Waterways at the gulf.
